South Africa's spam block
and POPIA toolkit
Block community-flagged spam on Android, send formal POPIA opt-outs, and monitor breaches — one SA account, no ads.
How it works
Report spam, block with the community, POPIA where we can — then keep watching for breaches.
Report spam
Flag calls and SMS in the Android app, or upload Google Takeout on the web. Reports grow the shared community list.
Community Shield
Block numbers others already flagged. Set FokOffMense as your Caller ID & spam app so they never ring through.
Send POPIA letters
We email formal opt-out or deletion requests from our POPIA mailbox. Free includes 5 a month.
Watch breaches
Monitor emails for known data leaks (HIBP), track replies, and lower your exposure score over time.
Community
Built for South Africans who are done with spam
Every report strengthens the shared block list. No ads, no overseas call-center upsell — just tools that fit how we actually get hassled here.
Android app
Block community spam on Android
Set FokOffMense as your Caller ID & spam app, then block numbers the community has already flagged — phone and Gmail filters on the web.
Download on Google PlayPOPIA
Formal opt-outs, done for you
We email companies a proper POPIA letter from our mailbox. Free includes 5 letters a month — Premium is unlimited. Replies land in your POPIA inbox, not your personal email.
Privacy
Built to protect you — not to harvest you
Caller ID tools often ask for more than they need. Here’s what we actually touch.
Calls & SMS stay on your phone
The Android app shows recent calls and texts on your device so you can tap to report. We never upload or archive your SMS history — only what you choose to submit in a report.
We don’t read your Gmail
Optional Gmail tools create filters and a FokOffMense label in your account. We don’t read message bodies or send mail on your behalf.
No ads. No selling your data
Spam reports strengthen the community list. Your contacts and inbox aren’t a product. Details are in our privacy policy.

About
Built in South Africa, by someone who was gatvol of spam
FokOffMense was built by Mathew Riddle, a South African IT specialist who got tired of spam waking him up and filling his day — so he built the tool he wished already existed.
The idea is simple: report spam, grow a shared community block list, and when companies won’t stop, send formal POPIA opt-outs from one SA account. No ads. Your SMS history stays on your phone.
It’s a local product for a local problem — named exactly how most of us feel when the phone rings again.

FAQ
No. We don’t run a live “who’s calling?” network. You report spam and block community-flagged numbers so many calls never reach your phone.
